Nahlap Island Resort is located on Pohnpei's outer barrier reef on the southwest side of the island, a one hour car ride from Kolonia. The trade winds here pick up from late December all the way to late May and blow strong, and if you just want to take a day off from your vacation, there is not a better place to do it in Pohnpei.
