For the last five years our late season has delivered not only perfect waves but some of the biggest waves Pohnpei has seen in recent history, like March 5th, 2007 when Shane, Mark Matthews and Dan Ross surfed the biggest and cleanest waves ever surfed in Micronesia or one year later when Dylan Longbottom and Jamie O’Brien got the super slow motion footage for BBC/Discovery Channel.
For most late season has been really empty line ups and 4 to 6 foot waves.
Last season we saw an incredible number of days with no winds and absolutely incredibly perfect conditions.

As today there are only around 15 surfers on the entire island and number tends to drop as we approach March and April..
